Manoj Silva

Originally from Sri Lanka, Manoj joined Baltrusaitis lab in fall ' 2018, after completing his bachelors in chemical engineering from University of Maryland. Currently, he is working on understanding the kinetics and thermodynamics of struvite formation on doped vs. undoped MgO nanoparticles for application towards wastewater treatment and N & P fixation.

Lohit Sharma

Originally from New Delhi, India, Lohit joined Baltrusaitis Lab in fall 2016, after completing his masters in chemical engineering from University of Toledo, OH. His PhD. project involves investigating the influence of H2S on the kinetics and mechanism of reverse water-gas shift reaction over MoS2 catalyst. He is also involved with evaluating other transition metal sulfide-based catalysts for dehydrogenation reactions.

Daniyal Kiani

Originally from Pakistan, Daniyal joined Baltrusaitis lab in fall ' 2017, after completing his bachelors in chemistry from Georgetown University in DC. Currently, he is working on developing and optimizing a practical Mn, Na, W containing catalyst for the oxidative coupling of methane (OCM). Daniyal's project encompasses experimental and computational aspects of OCM.
