Struvite precipitated using abundant magnesium sources

A new article published on using sustainable and abundant magnesium sources in the form of MgO and MgCO3 to recover nitrogen and phosphorus from wastewater to produce sustainable fertilizers. In collaboration with University Wisconsin Oshkosh Prof. Jennifer Schuttlefield-Christus. This manuscript is addressing nitrogen management challenges and utilizes solid oxide and carbonate minerals rather than expensive water soluble magnesium salts.
